Completing our panel of keynote speakers for the #medievalaber conference will be Robert Berkhofer, a medieval historian from Western Michigan University, U.S. Robert’s research interests centre around high medieval France and England and historical writing, forgery, lordship, law and society. In his research he often uses archival documents of monastic scriptoria and princely chanceries to explore how to evaluate them as evidence of mentality. Robert is also the President of the Haskins Society, an international academic organisation dedicated (though not exclusively) to the areas of interest of the American medievalist Charles Homer Haskins, so we are really eager to find out what he will talk about during his keynote lecture!

For more information about the other keynote speakers and the rest of the conference, please see our Conference 2018 page.
